It is located along National Route 12 and was certified as Hokkaido Road Station No. 1. A giant water mill with a diameter of 10 meters is a landmark. In April 2017, the shop building "Kura Kuran" was renewed and 8 stores including local agricultural products direct stores and restaurants are open.
